I wish I could have seen you,
Before you passed away,
I wish it didn’t have to be like this,
If only you could stay.
I have so much to tell you,
But I’ll have to wait a while,
You sent so many photos,
So I can still enjoy your smile.
I will always have a garden,
Wherever I may be,
So I remember how much you loved it,
And how you wrote to me.
I liked to tell my friends,
How you made it to ninety one,
And how you go for walks at 6,
And still have so much fun.
I am your great-grand daughter,
So proud I am of that,
I love you so much Granddad,
So pretty please come back

So sweet this is. I wonder what Granddad Bestwick would like you most to do if you asked him "Granddad, I'll be doing lots of stuff, but in addtion if there were some things I was to do to honour you, to live your values, what would that be?" cheers../bala
