I wish I could have seen you, Before you passed away, I wish it didn’t have to be like this, If only you could stay. I have so much to tell you, But I’ll have to wait a while, You sent so many photos, So I can still enjoy your smile. I will always have a garden, Wherever I may be, So I remember how much you loved it, And how you wrote to me. I liked to tell my friends, How you made it to ninety one, And how you go for walks at 6, And still have so much fun. I am your great-grand daughter, So proud I am of that, I love you so much Granddad, So pretty please come back « return. |
