In trying to celebrate Africa"s pre-colonial heritage,culture has been misinterpreted over the years to be traditionalism. Even advocacy for culture preservation has greatly promoted primitiveness. With these embedded in the concept of culture,there will always be barriers to the diffusion of developmental strategies capable of bringing out the uniqueness of african Culture.This is because culture is being made inflexible by this portrayal.
