Look … Son Look into my eyes, son
These songs you hear
Today are forever ever.
They’re songs of our
Souls from our souls
They’re songs sang
With our souls…our all!

Son, can you hear the
Drum-beats and shrill
Voices that issue from
Farmlands, forests,
Ravines and mudflats?
Listen to the sounds!
Listen…listen to the music!
Listen to the lyrics…

Can you decipher
The blunt story lines of
A people once happy
Now sad and dying?
Look into my eyes, son
These songs you hear
Today are forever ever!
