I'm a soldier I thought I told ya. The last words I heard him utter, yeah he did what he said and na he didn't stutter. Yeah I know him like no other, he was my older brother. But the truth to the story, he was destined for greater glory. Until he started hanging with tha crew. They put him in situations and he didn't know what to do. He was always on the move, because he thought he had something to
prove. Before, he was just a sweet little boy. He was my pride and my joy. He was my only hero and taught me to be a zero. He wanted me to do great things with my life and not get caught up in all of the strife. He wanted me to make good grades, so my life would be made. he taught me how to fight and when I was down, he told me things would be all right. But one day he began to change and for some reason I wasn't in his range. He put his boys before me, trying to become something he wasn't meant to be. A few months later he began to disappear and I began to realize never again would he be near. I went through torture trying to face my fears and then I thought, I wish my brother was here. But I looked to my side and he was nowhere to be found. I went home and suddenly he wasn't around. So I looked to the sky and started to pray, hoping he wouldn't always be astray. But one year later from that very day, my brother was found. And I can only wish time could be rewound. I never imagined I would have no one to lean on. I never imagined that he would be gone. I never thought I'd put him to rest and I never thought he would fail the ultimate test. I never thought he would get hurt and I never thought he'd fall to the dirt. I can only ask why, but I'll never let his legacy die. Because he taught his sister well and now I have a story to tell. I'm destined for greater glory and I'll always live on knowing my brothers story. Even in death, it will never be the end, because in spirit, I still have my brother and also my best friend.
