"Earth, a paradise"
The statement becomes a myth
Planet earth, a reality
Existence of Paradise on earth
Is never a truth
About our cruel world,
Rotates on its axis
Faces the light awhile
And turns to the dark side
Peace surfaces today
Tomorrow strife becomes news
Animals, siblings, in creation
Now playing "host and prey"
None like Eden
The first Garden
The earth shakes in despair
War emerging from angles
The infants barely see old age
Our life span, short, sorrowful
Soon, our breath expires
Our nostrils emptied
In earth we lay covered
Then do we say,
Earth, a paradise?
It's a contrast of that
But in reality, a myth.

I am a young man whose dream is to reform the world through poetry. I was nominated as "Poet of the year" for 2003 by Maryland-based International Society of Poets. Though I was unable to attend the convention for a reason, I still find joy in my achievement.
I do not have an organization of my own, but I plan to have one soon. I am looking forward to joining so many governmental organizations, and meeting poets of like minds. I believe so much in poetry, and it has been my platform for everyday activity.
