A girl thinks she has to be thin A boy thinks he has to be ripped A woman thinks her stretch marks must go A man thinks his hair should be thick She wants to be a supermodel He wants to be popular among the girls She wants to land a husband that’ll stay He wants to look younger What they don’t know is Her curviness adds to her sensuality His lankiness is quite appealing Her stretch marks are a badge of motherhood His fading hair shows wisdom Media glamorizes beauty to a point that is impossible to attain Seeing people hurt themselves to be like that is a big pain Since when has being yourself been a crime Beauty from the heart has been fashionable from time Being a certain way is not ‘in’ It’s all about your beauty from within. « return. |
