My heart bubbles with the wake of day. Seamless evenings rock the shores of night; Thoughts, like canoes berthed against bamboo poles, dance furiously to drumbeats of arriving clandestine designs; My heart sinks as I set sail to sea, fearing what lies in the bend Ahead…but, it wakes again with reassuring smiles of morn. « return. |
