Child & Youth Rights , Migration   Interviews

Robert Sagun on Youth Migration (RS): The Informal Interactive Hearings was organized to provide a venue for all Parties to constructively debate on the issues surrounding international migration and development. I think it is a good, commendable start to reaching a common agenda on and wider understanding of the issue. We now have come to learn that many countries – both developing and developed – are supportive of the emergence of a multi-stakeholder Consultative Forum on Migration and Development whereby Governments openly support the full and effective participation of civil society organizations and the business community in future dialogues. Our main task now, which I pose as a challenge to all of us concerned, is to collaborate and build on the outcomes of the Hearings.
