Apes Obey...Hey! Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Henry Ekwuruke, Nigeria Jul 2, 2006
Globalization , Peace & Conflict   Poetry

Over the centuries
over the years
after the trade and injustice
of man against man
Humanity at war with humanity
slaves in their own land
carnivals in dealings
ambitions dashed 'n' defeated
To obedience to the will-less masters
of education without love
bidding wishes into slavery
'shut up and listen!'
of sustained greed
maximization of gain
minimum loss across injustice
the hate of life at display
no love!
causing casualties and disabilities
beggers emerging,
poverty in plenty
an Ordeal of a people
Tradegy endowed with neglect
safety ignored to death
the predicament world of our loss
campaign against grounded
investments against the said
people counts and counting...
it is vividly displayed
Apes must obey
Hey!!!
