What happens when a Part of you dies?

The feeling left is like a hollow drum.
The missing parts hang around like a irritating song in your head or an unwanted thought that when conjured empties out your heart.

You are left only with memories....

After a person has passed away you realize that their life was more than just the times that they shared with you.

Living moments.....

What happens when apart of you dies?

It feels like innocence being lost.
When you've been lied to and realize that a person or thing isn't who or what you thought they were, that image of them dies along with the lie that was exposed by the truth.

You are then faced with a choice....

Assuredness and comfort are replaced with confusion and change.
But with change comes opportunities and with opportunity there's always the possibility of advancement, that's depending however on the person and their recognition of it of course.

*Through every dark night, there's always a bright day ahead...." -Tupac

I can relate to that, but in as much as it is dissapointing, you should rejoice, because every dissapointment is a disguised blessing. Now you are armed with more insight into human nature. Excellent piece you wrote their.
