Harvest of Haiku {Redefining love} Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Ositadimma Amakeze, Nigeria Mar 4, 2006
Peace & Conflict   Poetry

Dedication: In redefining love
My heart is so burnt
Such that that flavor is lost
After you broke it

‘Am not man enough
To bear having to lose you
`Tis my heart’s weakness

Would you turn again?
With those scintillating smiles
That once made my day

From dust shall I rise
Lo, would I have the reason
To live once again

Heal my broken heart
With the balm of your pure love
And break me no more
