Business Leaders Wake Up! The World is Falling Apart! (skrivet i annat sammanhang initialt, därav engelska)

Raging Discontent
The world is watching as it falls apart. Weak leadership on the good side makes us all suffer. Global development seems doomed to disaster. According to some Inca and Maya legends the world will be drowned in the same manner as when Noah became captain of a ship.

According to the legends it will happened because of a star alignment in 2012.
No matter if the legends and myths are right or wrong. Reality speaks for itself. Natural catastrophes are day to day material in the news. But still everyone acts surprised every time it happens. How foolish can mankind be?

Preparation is what we need.
Mental, physical and infrastructural preparation. Disasters are expected to increase. And they will, unless we come prepared. If you are mentally and physically prepared the disaster will be a big problem but not a catastrophe.

The Tsunami killed several hundreds of thousands of people, because they were not mentally nor physically or had infrastructural preparedness. The sea gypsis calmly told their children, now the water leaves and when it comes back it will destroy everything in its way. They took their most important belongings and climbed the mountains – no one was killed. Materialism does not strike them hard, since they kept their boats safe and built up their simple houses in only a matter of weeks. End of problem.

How is the rest of the world prepared?
What kind of equipment do we need? How do we secure food supplies? Where will you live when your local natural disaster hits your neighbourhood? How will you act during the storm? Will you rescue others? Will you be able to rescue yourself? Do you even now how?

I believe that by being mentally and physically prepared the catastrophes may be kept as “only” material destruction of large proportions. In other ways it can bring people together, make us join forces and end arguments about nonsense. What happends in your society when the rain comes?

Business leaders wake up!
This means huge upcomming industiries: Education for preparedness before, during and after. Equipment for rescue, for survival and reconstruction. Social infrastructure. Emergency highways. Food storages, etc. I could during only one short brainstorming session come up with hundreds of business opportunities that are needed before, during and after a natural disaster.

Politicians wake up!
It is already too late to stop the natural disasters to happen.
Now we have to realize it will happen and be prepared. What plans do neighbouring countries have to take on millions of climate-immigrants? Do you have a plan? No, I didn’t expect so. But when it comes it comes, and there will be no way to stop millions of panicking people to seek shelter, unless of course you want to become murderers.

And as I said before, no matter if the legends are right or wrong. But to be prepared is never wrong. It brings security and calm. And it minimizes the proportion of future damage.

What would you do?
What will you do now?
