The program will aim to be a catalyst for talk and discussion allowing education concerning important topics to be shared. I strive not only to present programs and depart hoping that prevention strategies and general knowledge remain but I also try to connect with community members in order to properly train them. Such training will ensure that reliable information remains upon departure of the program and continues to be shared by locally known and respected individuals.
The refugee communities I will be visiting are French speaking so in order to help make sure that communication between us is as clear as possible I am improving my French. I started studying in September
