When She Felt What Love Was...She Died Inside Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Feyikemi, Oct 7, 2005
  Poetry

She never thought it could happen
….that one day she would feel
a painful sort of happiness,
now that she gave in,
To a scary temptation of really knowing
….that love can be so real
but as with fancy tales of desolate love
chance is just so dim.
For a creature like her own
….that’s longing for such touch
may never have it from him she wants,
not even for a kiss.
From the man she wished would hold her
….now that she had learned
that loving isn’t always sweet
there’s just so much that hurts,
Inside as she really tries to fight
….the urge to escape her perfect world
to be with him she treasures,
and tries with all her might,
To revert to what she had before
….because it wasn’t right,
for knowing is loving….
and loving is dying....

(For him that changed everything....)

WRITING IS MY PASSION. I have always loved writing - both in English and Filipino.

I would like to believe that I have touched some people's lives with the feature articles and poems that I've written in the past. And I hope my future writings will affect many people.

I delve into the deepest and darkest areas of the human soul, where very few people deal with and many prefer to suppress.

My style is always to let out angst in a creative way.

I also write about love, joy, and inspiration and I'm looking at sharing them here.
