anger is what i got for a country that doesn't love blindness they show to our situation anger and hate is what we give from this position what the eyes don't see, the heart don't grieve they've seen our hurt, yet won't believe ignorance in their hearts, greed in their heads won't listen to our cries til thousands are dead peace: a thirst that can't be quenched peace: a word often said, seldom seen because all around, the scent of evil's stench hate is what they paid for our love so i suffer, while the rich party or war closed mouths never get fed but i'm bawling, still don't have any bread; i think faster than i speak but i'm spilling my guts so i'm crafting my upheaval with words and speech. « return. |
