Oh mother, What a wound you've sustained! You are meek and kind, The foes still struck at you. Awoke by the news, My cry hits across the neighbourhood. Ghana mourned with me, And I refused comfort from Benin. Whoever mocks my sobs Let her wish for such calamity, And feel the sting of the flame. As for me, I'll always Remembar you in my prayers. Restoration of equanimity To Great Britain will always Be my thirst, and my tears Will surely part through the skies, That your daughter, the "Giant of Africa" Might smile the moment you're justified Against the AL-QAEDA. « return. |
