beans and rice food, beans and smoking garri.

There are also individual uses for cereals. Apart from use as food and feed, they are used in the production of alcoholic beverages and fermentation products. Cereals are also processed into industrial starch and various resins useable in the paint and other industries. Actually, cereal refineries yield products too many to take on here. For instance, maize wet-mills or state - of - the - art refineries yield over thirty different products, some of which have been aforementioned. Human beings must thank nature for cereal crops that are types of grass lightly talked about. For without them, there may be famine, deaths within lands and many people may have perished!

Indeed, cereals are grains that feed the world - especially in my part of the world!
