why are we to be
lesser than when we were born
who were innocent and free
now driven to lust and scorn
who are we to believe we are right?
who are we to believe they are wrong?
what is truth and what are lies?
what is right and what is wrong?
where does true courage lie?
where is honor when corruption thrives?
where is reason when anger flies?
Think.
And hopefully we'll find an answer
to save our souls and lives.
