Poverty! Why hath thou chosen Africa as your dwelling place? Poverty has trapped us all, that we all live in abject poverty. Our children have never tasted the joy in riches. Our soil is extremely poor. And we are recognized by the poverty of our dress Our continent is poverty-stricken. We all live below poverty line, and our elected leaders never bother about our state of being poor. Africa! Never mind. For after the rain comes the sunshine. I know someday, poverty shall be chased out of thy land. Rejoice Africa, for you shall be greater and even richer than the wealthy continents of today. « return. |
