A cursory glance at Arab world crises from Palestine through Lockerbie, Sudan, the massacres in Algeria and the terrorism that has spread from Riyadh to Casablanca tells us that the Arabs have suffered a lot from the hands of the West. No doubt, many souls are weeping for their fellow souls in the Arab world; ringing mending bells against the injustice being meted out to them. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr. we maintain: “…. for the Americans who are paying the double price of smashed hopes at home, of deaths and corruption; in Iraq and in other Arab nations, the world is seeing all your actions.”
The only advice we give to the Arabs, in the words of Martin Luther King Jr. is that they (Arabs) should learn of the music that speaks to the sadness of life; an expression of infinite sadness and they should understand that joy still strings within the tremors of war.
To the West, we say that justice denied to any people means that a battle line has been drawn.
