Mother, I love you so much And nobody I love as such You taught me to go to church And I’ll forever obey, even if I’m Dutch You’ve always taken care of me And you also made me see You love me; I love you, no fee In my life, you are the key You taught me obedience, For real this is not science A law from the Omniscience And a little common sense You taught me to hope, Also to take my bath with soap You said I should never dope Even if I get to Europe You said I should never steal Because stealing is not ‘being real’ You also said I should never kill Though this I really feel You taught me not to fight I should always follow the Light Even if the road is tight, God will always make things right. So mother, forever I’ll love you And all your teachings do Even if my friends boo Believe me, I’ll always love you « return. |
