Peace & Conflict   Poetry

Tonight we mend our shattered dreams
With glues of hope and radiant seams
Each man must refuse his slumber's call
Summon courage and stand up tall

Tonight we mend our shattered dreams
We draw the line between war and peace
It's time to make the clarion call
Speaking at the risk of losing all

The fear of faliure must be laid to rest
Do all you can, put in your best
I know you must have had enough
But don't end your day by giving up

We must put together every piece
We'll work our way to lasting peace
With glues of love and radiant seams
Tonight we mend our shattered dreams

Tonight we mend our shattered dreams
We go whereever the strugle leads
Though I know it's pretty hard to cope
But once there is life, then there is hope.
