A very tiny guest Introduced to a very fine world There havoc is rendered Bit by bit The defences are broken Fort smashed down And armoury set on fire Its blaze continues overtime Life made vulnerable Only for adversaries to set in Taking away the breath Of the finest of all creatures The old and the young In knowledge and ignorance Welcome this guest One they never bid farewell But its hands lead them To the grave When faithfulness in love Caution in life And its panacea mortals seek Barred its coming. « return. |
