Who am I? Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Child & Youth Rights   Poetry

I sit in my room with complete and utter silence,
with the belief that in this very
moment the whole world is at peace.
My mind fills with random, petty thoughts that I just
can't seem to get out of my head.
I start to think about what others think of me,
and why I was put on this earth,
and just all these thoughts that even
though I am not saying a word, it seems
like all of a sudden the whole room has
just filled with noise, and confusion. Finding
yourself is not an easy task, I think it's hard,
but if you and I allow ourselves to accept what
Is, and to let go of all these insecurites, and
little things, then maybe then you and I will be able to
find ourselves, and then finally answer the question, "Who am I?"
