I could put it together with different sounds
and I have the vision
you see it matters what they
say, do, look, like, are, aren't
it matters what they
write, sing
teach, dance.
the day goes by * what they do
is your inspiration
but you are the dreamer, the makers of music
its worth more than..
music doesn't advertise,
advertise? view the truth
advert eyes must be shifty
reflection is a mirror
less you print it, give it
'way for money
and you may call it a sellout
I've waited all my life for the thing that's true
something like that and another silence
I cry because I was a fool
but somewhere in it all fathers
should be good to their daughters
I live like you do
but through, and thru
a different medium
so what of music, what of art?
what of love, all in one?
why?
don't ask why
reasons are for the rich
the concept belongs
journeys, whats, hows, nows, not nows
time is when, I will take the bait
we ask why is time, but time is why
is there more? Always.
so what the hell are you waitin' for
its encore, do ya want more...
I came I saw I conquered.
