Oppression Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Poverty   Poetry

If it is that much of an obsession,
You can have your worldly possessions,
But we do make of you one simple request,
Please hold back your words of oppression.

Don't tell us where we cannot go.
It isn't impossible just because you say so.
Discouraging our efforts, denying our dreams,
You really want us to fail it seems.

Yet you fail to realize our will and determination,
The truth is we don't really need your co-operation.
You are but a bug to be crushed on the path to greater glory,
And when we reach our destiny, we shall walk as kings among mankind.
You shall bare witness to the greatest victory of all time,
And we will be legends, the unbreakable dynasty, a tale for the ages.

All we need is faith.
Faith in ourselves and faith in God,
That he will carry us through the storm.
But you can count on one thing...
We shall conquer the universe
It is our purpose, our future...
It is our destiny!
