Funny how it is,
One day you see yourself –
Bright, cheery, and positive
And not have
The slightest bit of a hint
Of bright turning to dark,
And cheery to depressing…
…positive to oh so negative.
As you slip
From being indexed as happy
To being filed under the “dark, depressing, and death”
Sometimes life changes much too fast
While one still tries to hang on to the past
Yet the tighter one holds,
The more quickly it slips through the fingers
Like sand…
