There is a pain that never goes away The pain of losing a mother The pain of scavenging for food It nags at my conscience My mommy is no more Stolen at such a tender age Struck by the angel of death, AIDS! It’s such a pain, such a loss My sister is on her deathbed Struck by AIDS Is it fate? Are we paying for some crime? Who is to blame? Man? God? A tear drops from my eye Can’t bear the pain What is our solution? What can we do? Rally? Campaign? Or what? Young souls of the world Lets come together and fight AIDS You, me, everyone! We can if we believe we can! Say no to sex! Use a condom! Be faithful to your partner! It’s the only way It’s the way for humanity! Photo by Dick Loek, PhotoSensitive/CARE « return. |
