One might ask, "will it ever end"? It seem as though that is the question of every individual that lives within the boundaries of the Guyana.
Guyana! A country that became independent in the year 1966, yet it seem that we are still slaves of conflict and disagreement among ourselves. Buildings are been burnt to the ground, people of different races aren't working things out; just creating war among themselves. There is a need for change, it was said that the youths are the trees of tomorrow, but are they really taking care of the gardens and it's seeds that are there? I guess the true answer to that will be no.

The power of YOU Jason Harley | Jul 12th, 2002
Every person has the power to change his / her world. If you plant the seed it will grow. Then you keep watering it. Before you know it people will see your tree and want to plant others and you will live in that beautiful garden.
Create harmony. The secret is that yes, people do war and act foolish, some of them really enjoy it, but they are mighty only in their own little worlds. Compared to the power of your vision they are like ants and you are a shining sun...
When I was living in London I met a great lady from Guyana, I've always been curious to know what its like there?

We are the light Marlice Simon | Apr 22nd, 2003
I think we are the light and have to be the ones to carry the torch for a better Guyana peole will be what they are but the bottom line is only some people have the gift to change and make a difference, Guyana is a gem within rubbles and we are the gifted ones that have to let the World know that. Keep up the good work and let your light shine among the darkness.
Diversity of Guyana Towana Graham | Jul 5th, 2004
Over here in England asian or african people from the caribbean work & unite, knowing they are among caribbean people. I am in the east midlands in England, meeting a Guyanese is a rare pleasure. I am constantly promoting my country and letting people know the diversity in Guyana. Through out the world it is very unique for a country to have three national religions and such a vast diveristy in foods. Whether or not, there is conflict, I beleive we are embeded with diversity. Our country have the acceptance to celebrate each other's religion. All Guyanese whether asian or african decent, cook the same diversity of food. Guyanese people are very special, with a beautiful country with natural resources. It would be a pity throw this all away. Towana Graham
