Come see the water flowing free, like herds of untamed horses The streams and springs and falls so deep, more powerful than dams or man-made forces Yet, harnessed, enslaved, made to drive the metal sails, so powerful and wild yet feeble and tame A giant yet a midget, so lethal yet so gentle, like a field bearing white fleece as well as golden mane Both gas and liquid, is vapor and ice, she changes with the seasons like a lady of the times So flexible and graceful, she reflects the sun above As strong as an army advancing forth, line upon line Is found amongst every people, of every size and kind So precious is this, a real treasure for he or she that find Is found inside these people, a bringer of peace and also of strife Is most of everything we see, is giver of all life. « return. |
