The darkness runs Riding into the night The clouds part Wrath has found flight The rain sweeps Life is on the edge The lightening beckons The divide becomes a wedge Why do you run? Oh, beautiful one. What is within me, That makes me not see? I ask and thirst I shout and scream, The pools of Bethesda are but a dream. I seek and hunger, I run, but fall, Falling, the silence Engulfs my all The voice within, Shakes my being, The light is binding, Piercing my failings. Tears so pure, Washing my feet, Why do you leave, When it was so sweet? Though the darkness remains, I can still smell your fragrance, I still know you, Because of your presence. « return. |
