We all want happiness
And dread the thought of rain.
When the sun fails to shine,
We worry and complain.

We forget that God above
Is infinitely wise,
And sometimes our ails
Are blessings in disguise.

For if we're always happy
Filled with sunshine and cheer,
Our hearts would hold no mercy
For others who've shed tears.

So when trouble comes knocking,
Remember to stay strong.
Rainbows always follow the storm
And dark clouds never stay long.

Writer Profile
Adeyemi Adisa

When I examine myself, I see writing as the only way to express my thoughts and have been wasting no time, however little, in ensuring that I express myself. This is an inspirational thought, potentially instilled in each and everyone of us, but the ways we express ourselves is the difference. I hope to meaningfully make use of most of my time and positively share my thoughts with others. You can check out my site (www.yemmmmy.co.nr) for more of my articles and poems.

Wise Words

As you said those dark clouds harbor meaning for us, God is infinitely wise. Embrace adversity and meet the challenges of life, they hold gifts of conciousness worth much more than fleeting moments (however long they may seem) of pain.

Amazingly said. Such a well written piece.
