I wait upon the Lord, Voices tell me there is now way, Rushing, crashing, falling, diving, The thoughts invade my day. I cry unto the Lord, Love unfailing washing my all, Shame, pride, rejection, fear, The winter winds enjoy my fall. I sing unto the Lord, My wretchedness wanting to arise, Suffering, torturing, humiliating, grieving, A cross that kills the power of lies. I praise unto the Lord, What can I say or do, Truth, righteousness, holiness, purity, When He says, "I never knew you?" I whisper unto the Lord, Do I know you, do I know you, Grace, mercy, love, goodness, Where are you taking me to? « return. |
