Chrissy Walsh’s girlfriend,
Now what a role to fill,
I knew we’d be at one, one day,
For years, and further still.

‘How come?’ I hear you asking,
‘And who came on to who?’
We laugh and say politely
‘Your sources are untrue.’

Throughout my mixed emotions,
Incredulous it seems,
How I could find somebody,
Whom only lived in dreams.

That starting in the spring time,
Our love begins to shine,
For us, with no exceptions,
A love that’s his and mine.

Our love just like a flower,
So eager for the sun,
And how with no contention,
We’ve only just begun.

Lou Chaps

I am usually seen writing comical, eccentric poems about the most bizarre of forms. From Fruit to School Teachers, from Tragedy to plain truth. Enjoy my poetry, laugh at my eccentricity.
