I look into air, myself falling rain. -Kamala Sarup I look into air, myself falling rain. With the sun shining Life is in me Life is in you I live, living a moment of life I can see the moon I look into air, myself falling rain. With dimming lights To be woken by the sunrise To be calmed by sunset I look into air, myself falling rain. The sky blue. Days turn to nights, Week turn to months. Want to see the waves Crash on the moon I want to be sprayed With the liquid salt of the sea I give my self away The rain hits me, I stand by the window Hugging myself- It's a long stretch of road I look into air, myself falling rain. I see myself going Imagining, Imagining and seeing The way life feels to me I'll say it's raining in here All The Tears I shed, The way I always wanted, The way I always imagined, I want to remember The rain Whispering on the streets. The moon Breathing in the stars If the sun decides not to shine one morning The same way I am using me There are many roads Walk to the ocean As the rising sun warms the sand of the bluest ocean patches of scattered clouds and, yes, it rained once more today I stand here and let the rain wash away all the unhappiness days Someday, I will remember. When the sun comes out I will remember Someday the sun will come out and dry my tears. « return. |
