Thy bondage of ignorance Thy penury and disaster Has awaken the senses of man Who seeks for knowledge Knowledge that have been evolving for thousands of years The man who built the cities of the past and present The man who built the cradle of civilization The man who nourishes the fruit of knowledge The man whom we call a teacher A teacher whom we can trust A teacher whom we can count on A teacher of knowledge A teacher of greatness Their sacrifice has awaken democracy Their life has been the foundation of the future Their words have inspire leaders of the world Teachers we thank thy for the rest of our life A hero that is ignored by some A hero that is not praised of their works A hero that is unwritten in history A hero whom we called a teacher « return. |
