The city I now call home,
Is not as vast as the others,
It’s not a metropolitan by standards,
It is the second from the capital Lusaka
It is relatively quiet not spilling haphazard traffic, no mad rush of people no extreme high-rise buildings.
Come to think of it, it might not deserve city status but that depends on what you call a city
It’s a great residential place to live, plush, luxurious suburbs but like every place has it’s ‘ghettos’ and townships which wouldn’t be complete
It’s greener and cleaner than the capital quite the more friendly too
Hence it’s title ‘the friendly city’
I owe 2 solid years to this city
Though it bored me almost to tears at first then I realized there is no other place I would have rather lived than
NDOLA.
