Wimatigosh
Waiving your cross
Take my mashkiki
Leaving me dry
As I fly through the night
In zigzags and lines
Separated from the natural world

Midewiwin teach me
Earth divers
Nigig
Dig up
Truth
Heroes can be tricksters
Fools

The story of
Seven bundles
Seven visions
The Megis
And Madeline
Takes me home

I'd fallen into a coma before i got to this one last time. It's a supremely wonderful poem. I think it will haunt my nights and fill my day time dreams. I can't beleive how good a poem this is. Bravo Bravo. More!!!If only Milton, Keets and Shelley were alive today they would fall at yer feet. Actually i don't understand any of it and i'm just being snippy cause i've nothing better to do with my time.

well i appreciate that you read it in your boredom! alot of it is ojibwe which i don't expect many to understand. its about how the white men came and took away the land.
