Peace & Conflict   Opinions

It was a journey started by many
But it was a deceit covered by many
Although it was like rain in fire for many
But that was the way they used in tricking many

It was almost like a thousand years
But never was a common grace
As all was meant for clothed green men (uniformed)
Who never thought of what is at stake

The drums were beating on and on
And the children running in fear to dance
As they knew their parents failed to dance
And never came back.

It was almost like a dream to many
And all wanted to wake up and tell everyone
But all it was, was a trade for profit
Especially in the black world but yet in the world at large

Guns became the Town Crier
And the night was too long for comfort
The khaki green uniformed men never came too lose
But always out to gain.

They had one greatest follower
And many stood in fear to acknowledge it
It was always with them and gave tears to many
That was always so when its name was called

It became so known and steady
And children dread in fear to stay
And prayed not to wake anymore from sleep
At last our prayers answered but not the way we thought so soon

No sooner we thought it was better again
At the dismiss of the khaki green uniformed men
And the dead of the highest pain in uniform
But not long after
