He Ever Cares Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

For all you’ve made all thine gifts,
Your son for the good and bad,
In your air no favorites exist,
Your rain of benefit to all,
The weed with wheat thrived,
Thunderstorms had no bias strides,
Earthquakes swallowed all,
Death visited all alike,
Misfortunes were never selective
Loving your enemies as well,
For thine murderers you prayed
Your long rope has been rejected,
It beats us why you wait,
The kings of the earth would’ve acted,
Isolating and eliminating her enemies,
But your kingdom isn’t of the earth
Non- selective you’ve thus remained,
Your care is ever with us,
Or there did be no now.

I come alive when I write and the feeling that those few lines may impact positively on a soul unknown to me or even elicit a smile makes it a worthwhile endeavour.
