I am me
But I try to be you
I am different
Yes, it’s true

I am the black among the blue
I am the daisy hidden in the roses
I am the shrub towered over by the trees

So as I wander through this life
I only see them
The same
The blue, the roses, the trees

But me I’m the black, the daisy and the shrub
But most of all
I am the different one
