African American Positive Backup Needed in Africa Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Many African Americans are a disgrace to Africa and will still remain so if they don’t change their attitude towards their mother continent. Let them know that history has a tendency of repeating itself. Let them keep in mind the fact that history records their morally, socially and psychologically benign contribution to HIV/AIDS increase, escalation of drug abuse and addiction, breakdown of morals and decadence in Africa. Never will that be rubbed off the annals of history.

TakingITGlobal has never been more apt than it is now in providing a forum for expression. This is because the dynamic world has undeveloped challenges that pose a great problem to the growth and daily life of any youth in the global society. What with the incessant wars, poverty, HIV/AIDS, pornography, racism and several other vices creeping into the society in a culture best objectified as vicious gradualism.
Here is where writing comes in handy and the TakingITGlobal literati, glitterati and pundits alike have provided a vital conduit through which these vices, positive and negative dynamism can be expressed.
I am saddened for example, when a promising youth is reduced to a hopeless parasite by drugs. More saddening is when I see the mercilessness, the hopelessness, the dereliction, the lack of love that many children, youth and people are subjected to due to wars, poverty, pornography and such as other negativities which silently and slowly kill the spirit and will within humans! Having gone through such experiences myself, I pray that God gives me the massive ability to be able to help these people to the best of my ability with His guidance, provision and protection. I have often wondered whether the expression "do unto others what you would have them do unto you" is being subjected to relativity. These are the problems which need highlighting and what better forum is there than TakingITGlobal.
I am privileged to be part of this ideologically vimmed and gustoed community.

Human preying upon human
~Mahadivi Ananda Miama~ | Sep 5th, 2006
This article expresses the thoughts I experienced when I lived just outside of L.A., Cal. during the year, around 1990. The city was experiencing looting and fires due to unrest over the incident that took place concerning the arrest of the black man, "KIng", and the injustices that were dealt at him by local authorities. People showed lack of self control and expressed their anger over injustices at innocent bystanders and merchants; whether they we on drugs and listened to demoralizing music or not. Black people ruined their own neighborhoods and expressed hatred for other races; which is the very thing they have felt was handed at them. "Two wrongs don't make a right." ~Mahadivi Ananda Miama~

Thats true Miama

Two wrongs have never and will never make a right. Evil is overcome by good. Evil has never been overcome by evil throught the history of mankind and even in the future such prospects are zero. The best we can do is to do whatever we can while down here on earth. I believe we are not here for the sake of being here, but for a distinctive purpose. We should always strive to find that divine purpose and positively make the best out of it since we are not here forever anyway. Once again thanks, Antony
