Many passed the same road with you
But they couldn't succeed
Many read the same books you red
But they never passed

Many have influential background
But they couldn't achieve even more than you
Many gathered with shovels
Even when you're gathering with a rake
But they couldn't reap the fruits of their labour

Self improvement books with them
Men and women who rose from rag to riches
From the bottom to the top
From nothing to something
From nobody to somebody

Men and women who have a dream
Even when the going get tough
When the circumstances of their lives
Made their dreams so funny

Successful people also have problems
The stories of their sufferings early in life
With the conquest of life’s unfriendly mountains
Offers hope to the hopeless
And encourages the dispirited

Hang on!

Writer Profile
Adeyemi Adisa

When I examine myself, I see writing as the only way to express my thoughts and have been wasting no time, however little, in ensuring that I express myself. This is an inspirational thought, potentially instilled in each and everyone of us, but the ways we express ourselves is the difference. I hope to meaningfully make use of most of my time and positively share my thoughts with others. You can check out my site (www.yemmmmy.co.nr) for more of my articles and poems.
