We All Belong Here Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Stephanie, United States May 14, 2012
Human Rights   Poetry

As we all originated from other lands
we turned this into our Mother land.

All different cultures and beliefs
we united as one hoping there'd be peace.

Going through tough times, we helped each other out, never doubting the person we knew about

As years went on people began to judge others over little things, forgetting we are all unique and equal.

Discrimination in all corners of the street, enough to make a mother weep.

Stop the hatred and judgement, you don't even know the people your belittling, it's destroying our society.

God made you and me, you may think you're higher than me but we are standing equally.

Woman or Man, Straight or Homosexual and no matter what race, it is our right to live equally and not to live in fear, for we all belong here.
