What does volunteerism mean to each one of us? Does it just mean working for ones own community or does it mean much more then that? How many of us can claim to have done some volunteering work or the other?
Well i feel that each and every single one of us has done some kind of volunteering work or the other at least once in their lifetime (though my life hasnt been that long to call it a life time).Any kind of help through which the society or any specific organization ar even a group of people benefits is considered volunteering,though it isint necessary that that the benefits are monetary .
Volunteering helps in satisfying our phsycological and social wants it creates the satisfaction that we have done something to help those who do not have it all or made in a differnce in someones life or rendered our services to mother earth.It also helps in builiding our character an personality as when we do some kind of volunteering work or the other we invaribly come in contact with people from different backgrounds an lifestyles an this contact helps in bettering ones outlook on life .
Every community benefits from volunteering work as the community is rendered certain services free of charge.This helps in completing many tasks which would have taken much more time and money if professional services were employed by the state.
Thus i feel that volunteering is an essential part an parcel of life an that it helps n bringin out the best in each and everyone of us.
