Peace & Conflict   Poetry

I hear the cry again
I hear it screaming with a sharp pain, into my ears.
I look around and all I see is blood mixed with fear.
I run around looking for a place to run away from the cry but nowhere
I hear it more.
I ask myself why all these and then the reply came to me
It is as a result of ignorance and hatred.
The question I ask myself is why
Hatred instead of peace?
Why celebrate killing instead of life?
Why should me future be destroyed instead of created?
I ask my self why, why, why, why, why?

Remove I in poetry
Kondwani Munthali | Aug 11th, 2004
Rmove I in poetry and cover the feeligs of many. It works, its good that some of the best minds in youth work have many hidden talents. Keep it up
