Libya....Revolutions... Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Libya....Revolutions... I've always believed that all the wars worldwide are the fault of the people obsessed with money and power. But when I heard on the news that Gadaffi said that those who sustain him should gain entry in the revolutionary's houses and kill them, I just couldn't believe what he was saying. It was terrifying.

Then I saw an article about his sons. They were spending millions of dollars in only one night, paying for private concerts with Beyonce and Usher, while people of Libya were living in poverty.

It is just unbelievable how much corruption can exist in this world!

The human rights are violated. The international coalitions should do something to help them.

Even if Romania is a developing country and isn't a rich country, sometimes I feel lucky because I live in a democratic country, where people aren't afraid to sustain their opinions.

But we also paid a huge price for democracy. In the revolution which took place here 20 years ago many men, women and children lost their lives. So we own them our freedom of speaking, of writing and the right to vote.

I am an ambitious person, and I am concern about what is happening around the world.I like the diversity, the mixture of cultures and civilizations.I am also against racism .I believe in tolerance and in mutual comprehension.I don't think that one person is better than other person just because is born in a developed country and because speaks an other language. We are better than others depending on our acts,on how we treat the rest of the people.

Awareness and Mobilization
Aysha Imtiaz | May 4th, 2011
I think whats important for the people of Libya and other parts of the world where revolutionary thinking is spreading is to increase awareness and mobilize. I feel that the times have drastically changed in that now we have access to increased amounts of information and facts that we can become active citizens in our own countries...and thats whats important! TO become agents of change and to further create networks of dialogue and engagement amongst each other.
