pressure me not

Pressure me not for I am what I am
The lord made me and saw I was good
Full of desire and confidence that cannot be easily taken from me
Pressure me not for I won’t bow down to you or your behaviors
I won’t develop the desire of wanting to be like you
You are what you are and I am what I am
Two individuals with the free will to think for themselves;
Belief for themselves and dreams for themselves
Pressure me not for
My dreams are like roses
Safely folded waiting for the right time to open
And embrace the true meaning of my life
Pressure me not for you won’t succeed in making me think or act like you
I won’t change
I accept who I am
I have wisdom to a peaceful mind
I need no pressure in my life
If you can’t accept me for whom I am
I won’t change
I won’t respond to your pressure for you are not good
Your pressure is like water
Spills on me and dries instantly
I believe I have the free will to decide for myself
I know what I want in life
I do not need to “fit in”
Pressure me not for your pressure causes discomfort in my life
Pressure me not
For I am what I am and I treasure what I am
Pressure me not
