We were beautiful! Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Ups, downs... but life was full.
We were beautiful!
We laughed with our hearts
And fought with our consciences.
Always looked in each other's eyes
And we didn't have to think twice:
At least, we weren't good at lies.
We saw nothing but ourselves,
We were true as could be,
Friends like honey and the bee.
And gosh, how I treasure that;
The memory of us, all of us!

So go on, rule the world
Or make it a better place.
Go through, break through
And shine through!
But please don't remember me
Nor should you wait for me.
Not that I deem it good to be forgotten,
It’s just how life seems often.
Real living busy people often don't remember:
They got lots of other things to decipher,
Maybe sometimes in December,
But we often don't remember.

So why do I?
Yes, why do you?
Maybe, it's the friend I found in you
Or that I’ve found no one else like you.
Maybe because I'm still on my way
Or my eggs are not yet laid.
Whatever may be,
Whatever will be,
I know I miss you
And I won’t forget, not about you!
